Cure For The Yellow Man

If you're one of my Asian friends, the chances are that like me, you will turn beetroot red at the slightest drop of alcohol. This is no rosey glow, no cute pink highlighted cheeks - we're talking about looking like you've had a severe allergic reaction, or you're going to a costume party as a tomato. (I'd attach a photo but its just too embarassing).

Well - turns out may be there there is a God for the yellow man - and his name is "Pepcid". Yes, simple Antacid. How did I find this cure? Just go to Google & type in "asian red alcohol" & take your pick of FAQ sites.

So far I've conducted 2 experiments - both involving red wine - a surefire catalyst for my 'asian flush'. Both times I found that the effects of the wine were severely reduced - I had a slight pink glow to the cheeks & didn't experience the pounding heart sensation that comes after a few glasses.

Anybody else had any experience with this?
