Good Luck, Bad Luck, Good Luck, Bad Luck ...

Well I'm stuck in in transit in LAX & I have to say it's a pretty crap airport!! For such a big place there's really not very much to do or eat.
So here's the summary of my up & down day :

Unlucky : Flight from Chicago arrived here at 2.30pm, flight to Singapore leaves at 11.30pm. That's a looooong time in transit!
Unluckier : Flight is delayed to 1.30am!!!! Now that's 11 hours in transit!!!!
Lucky : Nice man at the SIA counter moves me to an earlier 8pm flight.
Unlucky : Says I can't get into the SIA Lounge as I don't have Gold membership :(
Unluckier : Treck to another terminal in an attempt to get into the Admiral Lounge (whichi you can pay to get into) - no luck, need an AA boarding pass
Luckier : After eating a greasy Maccas burger, wander up to SIA Lounge anyway to try my luck. Nice nice ladies at the counter decided that since I have Silver memebership then that's close enough! Probably took pity on someonw who's spending about 48 hours travelling .... WOO HOO for pity!
