The Boonies

Aaaah ... I'm just so good at finding these lil' Americanisms!! Well actually, I'm not sure if this is from America or from Canada.
Apparently "The Boonies" is the US/Canadian equivalent to the Aussie "Woop Woop".

American : "It takes Chad 1 hour to get to the city, he lives in the Boonies."
Aussie : "It takes Barry 1 hour to get to the city, he lives in Woop Woop."

Haha .. Boonies. It cracks me up! It just reminds me of that 80s movie "The Goonies". Did anyone else see that? Classic stuff.
