A New One ...

It's been a fun Labour Day long weekend. A lot of Yanks seems to travel, but CH & I didn't have time to organise anything, so the long weekend was spent in Chi-town catching up with friends, eating & shopping - can't complain about that!
We managed to check out a Cocktail Lounge called Japonais, located on the banks of the Chicago River & which has by far has the best cocktails that I've tried in the city. Their signature cocktail has a real orchid flaoting in it. Noice.

We also dined at some new sure-to-be favourites : Feast and Bite, both in our foodalicious neighbourhood.

Then we had a barbie for a friends birthday, where we met some rowdy US Navy sailors. These boys drank vodka like a fat kid drinks Coke. They also taught me a new saying, which I assume is in retaliation to the "Once you go black, you never go back".
"Once you go Asian, you nver go Caucasian".
Take that you 'Gwei-los'!
