Best Of The Fest

Adelaide is going off.
This is just about the best time for people to be in Adelaide. Right now we're busy busy busy with :
- Adelaide Fringe Festival
- Adelaide Festival of Arts
- Womadelaide
- Adelaide Cup

Last night I saw 'Breakin Ground' which started off with an awesome DJ & then TerraFirma a local hip-hop group. But the main act was Wanted Posse, these unbelievable break dancers from France that were pulling all kinds of crazy moves.
Found this video of Junior, who was by far the most impressive of the lot. Un-freaking-believable.

Saw the opening of the Festival of Arts 'Il Cielo che Danza (The Dancing Sky)' which was done by the Italian group that performed at the opening of the Winter Olympics in Turin. Pretty awesome stuff - there were ballerinas suspended from wires, and more amazingly, people suspended from giant helium balloons, which I've captured in a shot below :
