Sawadee
It feels like the last days of summer are upon us here in Adelaide. The weather is slowly turning colder & the days are not so bright … :(
But I’ve been enjoying the sloow Adelaide days … last weekend went to the Adelaide Hills Food & Wine Festival (yes, another food & wine festival. It’s what we do). Drank some yummy whites & nibbled on things like osso bucco & decadent choclate brownies. Yumo.
So what does a summer girl do when the sun starts turning its back on her? Well, you head for warmer waters of course!
Yes – I am once again holidaying!! Ha ha ha – bet there are friends out there reading this thinking “What the?” Tomorrow I’m flying over to Singapore (mmm … sun …) for my Grandma’s 80th Birthday. It’s been planned for quite a while, so I was lucky to be able to get leave without pay to come to this.
Then after hanging out with the rellies for a while I’ll be jetting to Phuket with my boy for some well deserved R&R. Well, he deserves it anyway, not sure I do!
Why Phuket? Well, when a return flight there costs only SDG$90 return … “How not to buy??” (as Kev would say)
Unfortunately I didn’t read that the taxes are as much as the flight until afterwards … but nevertheless it’s still damn cheap! (Thank you Jetstar Asia)
Anyway, will write again & hopefully have some tropical type pictures to post!
